How to add web analytics to your WordPress site

You might prefer our [custom WordPress plugin](/documentation/wordpress-web-analytics-plugin). It allows for intuitive configuration with a built-in settings wizard.

Please follow these steps to add Wide Angle Analytics to your WordPress site:

  1. Install WordPress plugin Insert Headers and Footers by WPBeginner
  2. In the WordPress Admin panel, select Settings > Insert Headers and Footers
  3. Paste your site tracking code in Scripts in Footer section.
  4. Press save

If your WordPress site leverages some form of caching solution, it might be necessary to purge the cache before the analytics script is present and active on your site.
